Hi! I'm really excited to get fic from you, and I hope you find a prompt you like in the ones I've come up with!

I'm going to list a few dislikes and likes first.

Don't like: AUs, especially mundane AUs, but also any other kind of AU that does not involve the canon world, occupations, and positions of the canon characters. Please don't give me AUs.

I don't usually like the whole formal D/s with arranged scenes and stuff, so on the balance, I'd prefer not getting it.

I also don't care for introspective stuff--it flies over my head, and I genuinely don't get it most of the time.

Like: Canon divergence, porny fic, case fic, gen fic, adventures, plotty fic, humour fic, gender-bender (guys as girls only, because this trope is a way to put more girls into the male-focused canons that I like.), and probably any kink you can come up with, but particularly size kink related stuff. Dub-con and non-con are good (better than, really).

Slash and het are great, and I love femslash, but I have much higher standards for it--I like it super smutty, and/or 100% about them having a blast together while being best friends who fuck. Then I love it.

I like hurt/comfort. This gets its own paragraph because I REALLY like it.

Finally, if I've written it, I like it.

I know these are very shippy prompts, and I want to say that I really am happy with gen too. I just don't really have prompts for gen ideas beyond case fic and adventures for all the things.

Prompts:

1) Darken (this webcomic is free online)

I'd like Komiyan and Casper being bros, or Komiyan/Gort loyalty kink with Gort getting off on Komiyan's loyalty. Or hurt/comfort for that bit where Komiyan gets the scar. :)

2) Forgotten Realms

...yeah, I'm just going to recycle my Yuletide prompt. :D

So I ship Entreri/Jarlaxle like burning just post-Servant of the Shard. I haven't read must further than that (I was pretty disappointed with the later characterization for them both), and I'd really like something involving the two of them from that time period. It doesn't have to be slash, all I ask is that they are at the very least snarky best friends. Or tentative non-trusting evil friends. Or awkward fuck buddies who like each other.

As for a prompt, I'd be really tickled at Jarlaxle exploring the surface world and enjoying everything. Adventures to defeat things for money, stealing expensive shiny things to attach to his hat, taste testing everything and relying on drow poison immunities...anything, really. If he falls off a cliff in the process, gets injured and loses his healing magical items, necessitating a grumpy Entreri taking care of him, all the better! If Jarlaxle is set off-balance at Entreri's attempts at comfort or easing his pain, that would be extra great. To put that in easy order for the search engine, I'd like a slash or gen friendship story with hurt/comfort, set just after the Servant of the Shard.

(Seriously, go wild. It's been years since I've had fic for these guys).

3) Fae Tales - Not_Poignant - This is a fic freely available on AO3

Okay, so Fae Tales!

One request: make it porny. :D (Or gen, but I have no real prompts for that).

I like Albion, Gulvi, and Ash enough that I reaaaaally want fic on them, and I would be utterly delighted to get them abusing Gwyn somehow and him iron woobieing all over the page. I love Gwyn way more than I was expecting to, especially when he's crazy and vicious and ready to just roll over and give up the instant he thinks that he can.

A couple prompts:

Albion catching Gwyn after the dethroning and escape, and Gwyn manages to redirect him from kill to fuck, but it's vicious enough that Gwyn doesn't know that he's going to survive--and Albion doesn't intend to let him.

Gulvi wants to help train the kinks out of Gwyn's arm, except that she's getting off on his pain, and Augus is in a fit of pique somewhere else, and she offers to try some massage. It's mostly an excuse to watch him gasp and pale and squirm under her. And Gwyn likes it, and ***handwave*** he and Augus aren't exclusive or something, and Gulvi is pissed at Ash, and then she rides him while fondling his wounds.

Ash takes exception to his brother's treatment in the Seelie court (more so, anyway), and demands that Gwyn bleed for upper court status. And then he tortures the hell out of Gwyn while imagining Gwyn doing the same things to his dear, dear brother. And Gwyn agrees very solemnly that he deserves it, and lets Ash do whatever he wants because in this light, Gwyn can kind of pretend it's Augus (who will clearly never want Gwyn again, so Gwyn will just have to make do, and if it hurts, well, it's not like Gwyn's not used to pain.)

Or Gulvi taking a pint of blood and a pound of flesh from Ash.

I...don't know what to do with the Raven Prince. I feel like he'd be nice to Gwyn, which wouldn't be a terrible thing, not at all. Or maybe Augus locked him into the dark somewhere and Gwyn, as the new Unseelie king, finds and releases him. And The Raven Prince is not in a forgiving mood, but in no condition to rule, fight, or do anything but help cement Gwyn's political position and awkwardly seduce Gwyn in order to punish Augus.

Augus is great too, but in order of preferences, he's at the bottom of mine. Because I have canon, and it really indulged that itch.

4) In Death - J.D. Robb

This series is my go-to night time reading, the corny romancing aside. The plots are pretty good! Some of them. They have their own shelf on my bookcase, okay?

Anyway! I have always really wanted Eve to take Morris home and make him into her kept man. Weird, yes, but I swear she has better chemistry with Morris than she does with Roarke. And I want her to take care of him ineptly after his girlfriend gets murdered. And yes, a threesome with Roarke, because seriously, I like him too. But weird domestic fic with them all being awkward but content, and Morris kind of balancing them out so they don't fight quite as much...I've thought about this too much.

I would also love Eve/Mavis. Maybe them both being pre-Roarke poor, Eve having mandatory vacation days and Mavis being post-breakup homeless on Eve's couch, and a bottle of rotgut, and them having aggressively awesome sex that they don't talk about. With the futuristic and over-sized vibrator that Mavis totally keeps in her purse.

5) Maiden Rose

Um. Anything?

Okay, the parts of this canon that have really captured my attention are Klaus' addiction, Taki's complete and utter 'not-talking about it', and their mutually abusive relationship,

Hurt comfort for canon would be awesome, but so would angsty dub-con/non-con like in canon. Taki figuring out just how much (...cocaine? the translation was kind of vague) that Klaus is taking, and then making him quit. And watching him while he detoxes, and Klaus doesn't even consider disobeying, doesn't ask for help, just quietly falls apart in the corner of Taki's office, and Taki doesn't even consider that he could help him. And it goes on for days. DAYS! Hahahaha.

...or, yeah. fluffy cuddles, or the war ending. And Klaus leaving because he's out-lived his usefulness to Taki, and Taki being selfish and going after him. Maybe they meet up in a Canadian cabin in a snow storm.

6) A Certain Scientific Railgun

Okay, I really, really love these girls, and I ship them! I do! I just don't want sex or the implication that they might have sex, because they are so young that it feels really, really wrong. Even if canon is pretty...well. I always giggle, ship it, remember how old they are, and get kinda squicked. Future fic would probably be okay.

Mikoto is my favorite because she's angsty, and I'd love fic with her and Kuroko in it, but I'd be happy for fic with everyone except that male character who is entirely superfluous and who's name I can't remember.

I really love the idea of Academy City as well, and I'd be delighted by case fic, fic exploring the world, and the girls fighting crime like the awesome middle school crime fighters they are.

Thanks for writing for me! I cannot wait to see what you come up with, and I'm really, really excited to get fic for any of these fandoms!

I Like: I'm pretty easy--I like gen, slash, and femslash, and I like any rating of fic. I'm nigh unsquickable, too. Seriously. If you have a kink you want to write, go for it, I'll probably like it. My bullet proof kinks include hurt/comfort, loyalty, size kinks of all shapes and sizes, torture, non-con, adventure fic, and fluffy friendship stories that end with hugs.

I also love Peggy Sue stories, found family, genderbending whether sudden or always-that-way, mysteries, hypothermia fic, stories about food, tentacle monsters sexual and not-sexual, de-aging, exploring unexplored places, ghost stories, hauntings, horror, fairy tales, and absolutely any kind of best friends narrative. And plot is AWESOME. I really like plot.

I don't like: character bashing, or betrayal by friends (even if said friends are evil). And I don't like AUs that are not canon AUs. That's about it.

Just write fic for my tiny, non-existent fandoms, and I will be outrageously happy. I feel like I'm constraining you too much with all these likes and dislikes. Let your typing hands guide you. I'll be here. Waiting.

2) Darken (Webcomic)

So this is an awesome webcomic located here: http://darkencomic.com/

The art is terrible at first, but it improves, and the story is a fantastic D&D adventure with an evil adventuring group. I really, really love this webcomic, for all its flaws.

Characters: Gort (Darken), Komiyan Zaibach, Mink (Darken), Casper Lockwood

I'd like ANYTHING for this webcomic, but something about Komiyan's loyalty to Gort would be great. Evil people friendships are the very best kind, and so is evil loyalty kink. Especially if it's hurt/comfort for that thing that happens and leaves Komiyan all injured and desperate to warn Gort. That would be FANTASTIC.

Also Casper and Komiyan being bffs and getting into trouble. Also possibly getting into each other's pants. Also good.

Or something about Mink and Gort's never-happened baby-making tryst, because that HAD to be weird.

3) Guilded Age

Another great D&D webcomic! This one is more themed off of games like World of Warcraft and Guild Wars, but it's an extremely interesting and well-plotted political drama/sci-fi adventure, character driven...thing. It straddles a lot of categories. Also, it has a female barbarian/paladin type who wears full plate armor. If you've ever been frustrated at bikini chainmail. AND it has consistently great art.

Another webcomic for which I'd accept anything, but here's a few prompts for you to chew over, if you want.

SOMETHING WITH FRIGG. SOMETHING AWESOME WITH FRIGG. LIKE AN ADVENTURE TO RETRIEVE HER MACE AFTER IT'S STOLEN BY TROLLS. That would be cool.

Byron doesn't really believe that he's free of his berserker rages. Frigg is awesome, and they talk about it while she grinds his face into the mud for being silly.

Big Boss Harky fights for a better life, but that doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy the hell out of the fighting. He worries that someday that enjoyment will tip over into the madness that claimed so many of his kind. Throw in any of the Savage Races characters in his army, and I'll be delighted.

But seriously, anything. This is a lovely big universe screaming for fic.

4) Enchanted Forest Chronicles - Patricia Wrede

Characters: Cimorene (Enchanted Forest), Kazul (Enchanted Forest)

Cimorene and Kazul go on an adventure. Gen fic, the only princes around are plot furniture, and if they get trapped in a fairytale or have to solve a mystery, that would be awesome. And okay, maybe I'm asking too much, but I really just want the first book. Again. with new story.

Man I love those books.

5) Haven

Characters: Duke Crocker, Jennifer Mason (Haven), Dwight Hendrickson, Audrey Parker

Jennifer/Audrey or Dwight/Duke would be pretty awesome! I'm largely unsquickable, and I like most anything, so literally anything you want to write with them would be amazing.

I could also go for a gen fic about Dwight solving and covering up non-fatal Troubles that are more troublesome than dangerous, pre-season 4. Like, a trouble that causes fireflies to congregate in terrifying numbers around one lamp post, or a child that shape shifts into a dinosaur (luckily it's very small, and he manages to pass it off as a mangy chicken), or a Trouble that gives people headaches. Stuff the police never see. If Duke appears, so much the better.

Please no Audrey/Nathan. Audrey/Duke is cool, but really not a fan of Nathan and Audrey together-together. I like them as friends, though!

Fanfic Rec (looong overdue)

So a while back I got asked to do an emergency beta job, and much to my surprise and pleasure, it turned out to be an absolutely fabulous story!

I'm sharing with you guys because I love.

Genre/Category: Case, general
Rated: R
Word count: ~ 33,000
Warnings: Mind control, mentions of psychological abuse/torture, mentions of rape (non-graphic)

Summary: If life were a movie Jessica Jones would be the star of an After School Special, the prime example of what not to do with your life. But that's okay, because life isn't a movie and Jessica is just fine. Then she has to turn to SHIELD for a case and as she is sucked back into the life she has left behind and the past she doesn't want to remember things spiral out of her control.

In the movie of life you're always the main character, but this isn't the time for an After School Special. It's the time of superhero blockbusters, and Jessica's life is no exception.

Reason for Reccing: I have NO CLUE who Jessica is, but I love her endlessly. She's sharp, snappy, a great private detective (this has something like three great-paced and interlocking mysteries that are solved very cleverly indeed), and all in all, she is a great character. Why? Because hwc 's writing is fantastic. I think Jessica must be fantastically in character, though, because the Avengers who appear in this are so in character that I literally clapped my hands and squealed with glee the first time Tony turned up and started talking.

Now I suspect that most of you are in my boat in that you've never even heard of the Alias comic. Ignore that. A basic knowledge of Marvel canon is more than enough for you to read this and understand it. You can read it like Jessica is a really excellent original character and still enjoy it.

The true shining gold star in this is the Plot (capitalized for the awesome). It is one of the finest examples of a tight, fun, and interesting mystery I have ever run across in or out of fandom, while still being dreadfully ominous in the very best way. Jessia, as I mentioned before, is a private detective. She is very good at being a private detective, and the fic revolves around her doing her job and solving a series of mysteries that turn out to be interconnected. All of you are from fandom. You know how rare that is. This is legitimate 24k plot fic, so rare that gold pales in comparison.

In conclusion, this story has my most enthusiastic recommendation!

I am going to tell you a story. It is a good story. I think you will like it.

Once upon a time, in a land that never existed, there lived a ninja.

This Ninja had a broken heart. He did not know when it broke, simply that it did. Once he was whole, and now he was not.

His every step was mired in mud, and every joy was hidden from him. The world tasted of ashes, fires that died long ago. He felt grief and loss and hopelessness, or worst of all, nothing, and he never told a soul.

There came a time when he could not bear it, and he set off on a quest to find happiness.

He walked away on a clear road, but the road was strewn with rocks that were so tall and thick that he could not pass.

The Ninja then turned to the hidden paths under the trees, but the forest grew thicker as he went deeper, the branches tearing at his clothes and dragging him to a halt.

As he stood in the densest of forests, caught in the clutches of branches, the wind called out his name. The ninja's heart ached with grief, and he returned home.

Seasons went by with nothing to mark them. He was alone, and his heart was broken.

The Ninja lived, and nothing more.

One day, the ninja came upon a polished black rock. Summer was gone and the leaves were falling, for winter was drawing near.

The rock was surrounded by thorn-covered sticks, laid at its base like offerings. He thought they might have been roses, once.

Fall flowers glowed bright pink against the stone's base, still blooming despite the lateness of the year.

Their giver stood, her head bowed in grief, as she traced a name carved into the rock.

"Did you lose someone?" he asked, touching the soft flowers.

"Aye." The Giver's smile was as worn as his grief, and the ninja's broken heart twitched in his chest.

"What was their name?" Names were important, though the ninja could not remember why.

"He forgot it, and everything more, a very long time ago." She sighed and touched the stone again. "A evil man destroyed his mind, and wrapped him in illusions. When I called out for him, he did not reply. When I stood before him, he did not see me. And when I touched him, he thought me nothing but branches, tugging at his clothes."

The ninja's blood thrilled in his veins, but he could not imagine why. "Does he still live?"

"Yes, he does." The Giver pushed back the hood of her cloak, and her hair glowed as bright as her flowers.

His heart pounded against his ribs. "I know you, don't I?"

The Giver paused, and smiled like the sun. "Once upon a time."

The Wishlist is a multi-fandom Christmas fanfiction fest. It is something that started very small and simple three years ago. The premise was simply to write twenty-four ficlets in response to twenty-four prompts, posted between 1 Dec and 24 Dec. Fandom gifts, if you will. Since then it's grown and changed a bit.

I have signed up to be a writer or artist and if you want to give me a prompt, please leave a comment on this entry.

Rules

- I accept the first 24 prompts I am given, regardless of who you are or if I know you.

- You give me characters/pairing, a fandom and a prompt. If you want art, please give me a fandom, story, or scene you would like me to create art for. Whatever you want, actually.

- If I don't know the fandom you're requesting, your prompt doesn't count. The fandoms I write in are:

Check my Masterlist on Dreamwidth. If I've written it before, I'll write it again. If your favorite fandom isn't on there, prompt it anyway. If I can't write it, you can prompt again with something else in a different fandom.
